Panorama Water Tariff Application
April 5, 2007
On April 21, 2006 Corix Multi-Utility Services (“CMUS”) submitted an Application for an amendment to the Panorama water tariff (the “Application”) to the Deputy Comptroller of Water Rights (the “Comptroller”).
On March 28, 2007 the Comptroller released the Decision on the Application.
The Comptroller has approved the new water tariff to be effective from July 1, 2006. As stated in Section C.2 page 4 of the Order, CMUS has been directed to collect money owing, or for some customers to refund money, for the period July 1, 2006 through February 2007 where invoicing occurred under the old tariff.
The amount owing or to be credited to each customer will be shown as a separate invoice and included, together with the details of the calculation, with the March bill. Where money is owed to CMUS, the customer will have the choice of paying the full amount in a single payment or making interest free monthly payments spread over the ten billing periods from March through December 2007. In cases where there is a credit, CMUS will apply the amount of the credit against the monthly bill for water service. Any questions concerning the calculations on the invoice should be directed to the CMUS Panorama office at (250) 341-3091.
A copy of the Decision with Reasons and Order along with a revised Water Tariff No. 2 have been posted on this website and can be viewed below, along with all of the information filed during this Tariff Application process.
