Water and Wastewater Testing - Lab Facilities
Do not assume that clean-looking water, especially water from a spring, surface source or shallow well, is safe to drink. All water sources should be tested for indicator bacteria. Most indicator bacteria do not cause any health problems themselves, but their presence means that the water has been contaminated and may contain other bacteria, viruses or parasites which could cause illness. The most common indicator bacteria are coliform bacteria.
Water and wastewater testing involves following the contemporary practices held for sampling procedures. These include; sample collection, sample preservation and handling, data preparation, report generation, safety, quality assurance and quality control.
Corix has its own labs and testing facilities that can handle operational and monitoring testing. The lab facilities are also a great training resource for our operators.
