Biomass systems create energy from waste products. A biomass power plant generates energy from waste wood, tree branches and other scraps that would otherwise be discarded. Through a process of gasification, sufficient energy is released to turn turbines and generators.

Biomass energy can also be tapped at landfills. When garbage decomposes, it gives off methane gas. Pipelines are put into landfills and methane gas is collected. It is then used in power plants to make electricity. A similar thing can be done with animal manure. When manure decomposes, it also gives off methane gas. This gas can be burned right at the farm to make energy to run the farm.

Corix can create energy systems based on biomass. It’s an effective and environmentally efficient source of energy.
