Corix Infrastructure and SouthWest Water Company announced they entered into a definitive agreement under which Corix Infrastructure’s water business will combine with the businesses of SouthWest.
The combined company will have over 1,300 employees serving more than 1.3 million people in two Canadian provinces and 20 U.S. states. The scale and enhanced financial foundation of the combined company will facilitate long-term infrastructure and service investments in these communities. Please note, this internal restructuring will not have any impact on customers.
Certain steps in this business combination require the B.C. Comptroller of Water Rights’ approval, which are detailed in this document.
