Heritage Isle Construction Work

Nov 04, 2021

Please note updated construction dates.

Beginning November 29, Corix Utilities will be carrying out construction work in the Heritage Isle neighbourhood. This work is expected to take approximately one week.

During this time, the lower loop entrance to Heritage Isle will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic, including the green space pathway. Local residents will still be able to access their homes and driveways.

We ask Heritage Pointe residents to please stay clear of the construction site, and avoid transiting through the area.

What is being done?

This construction work is necessary to update the Isle Lift Station, which was built in the late 90s, and now requires upgrading to current technological standards.

Lift Stations are a vital part of your wastewater system, and there are several in the Heritage Pointe community. They pump/lift wastewater and sewage from low-lying areas to higher areas, where it can then flow by gravity to our Wastewater Treatment Plant.
