After a detailed regulatory review process, the Office of the Comptroller of Water Rights (Comptroller) has approved new water rates for Panorama Mountain Resort customers.
In November 2018, Corix submitted an application for new 2019 water rates. The Comptroller approved interim rates effective January 1, 2019, to remain in place until the regulatory review process was complete. On August 23, 2019, the Comptroller issued Order No. 2551 approving final 2019 rates effective January 1, 2019. There is a difference between the interim and the final rates, and customers will receive refunds reflective of this difference in the coming months.
Corix’s approved rates reflect increases in operating and maintenance costs since 2010, which was the last time rates for Corix – Panorama Water were adjusted.
