Regulatory Affairs

The district energy system is regulated by the Utah Public Service Commission (PSC), whose responsibility is to ensure safe, reliable, adequate, and reasonably prices utility service for customers of regulated utilities in Utah. Terms and conditions of service, rates, and fees are subject to review and approval by the Utah PSC.

The Utah Public Service Commission (PSC) in Docket No. 26-2666-01 by Order dated June 19, 2026 approved interim rates effective August 1, 2026, subject to refund or surcharge pending completion of the PSC’s adjudication of the Corix Utah City District Energy Utility General Rate Case Application. The interim tariff including terms, conditions, and rates may change subject to the final decision of the PSC in Docket No. 26-2666-01.
