Sun Rivers / Talasa Village
Kamloops, British Columbia
The Project
Sun Rivers Golf Resort Community is a 460-acre residential golf community situated on a desert plateau overlooking the Thompson River. The development features 2,000 homes, a championship golf course, a resort hotel, village centre, park and numerous community amenities.
The Opportunity
As a greenfield development, Sun Rivers required a complete multi-utility infrastructure system that was safe, cost-effective and environmentally responsible, with end-user convenience a top priority.
The Solution
Corix provided a total, end-to-end solution taking full responsibility for the community’s utility needs, from the design of an integrated multi-utility system through to its installation and long-term management. Sun Rivers residents and businesses receive reliable heating and cooling via highly-efficient GeoExchange technology ensuring a sustainable energy future for decades to come.
