How to read your new meter

Your new meter will have enhanced metering technology with advanced features, including leak detection, backflow monitoring, and remote meter reading.

Manually Read Your Meter

To manually read your meter, lift the lid on the encoder to view the dial face.

The numbers with segmented lines (bars) before the decimal point show how many cubic meters of water you've used, and the numbers after the decimal point show fractions of one cubic meter.

To determine your daily water usage, take a reading at a set time of day, then take a second reading at the same time the next day. The difference between the two readings is your daily water consumption.
