We are pleased to report that progress is being made to repair the watermain break that has interrupted service to Canadian Lakeview Estates residents.

Crews have reached the location of the break and all necessary equipment and supplies required to complete the repair are now onsite. The break is located at a depth of over 3.7 m (12 ft), which has required considerable preparatory work to safely access the watermain.

Work will continue during the evening, and once the break is repaired, Corix Operators will slowly refill and pressurize the system.

We will provide a further update at approx. 9:00 pm.

Temporary Potable Water

A bulk potable water truck is onsite, located on a pullout on Tronson Rd., just past Phoenix Estates (9196 Tronson Rd.). It will remain onsite until at least 7 pm. This water can be used for drinking and cooking purposes or for toilet tank flushing.

Residents can bring their own water containers to fill as needed. The Alpine Water truck driver or a Corix Operator is available to assist residents. Residents with mobility difficulties can request water delivery by calling Jon McLuskie, Corix Utilities, at 236-597-6650.

COVID-19 protocols are in place regarding physical distancing, and hand sanitizer is available.

Boil Water Advisory

Please note that when water pressure has been restored, the entire system will be under a Boil Water Advisory. We will provide more information at that time.

Please check this page for outage updates. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work through this situation.
